New Breakfast Places in Sacramento: Denny's Veterans Expand Our Brand

As 1851 Franchise reported, we are expanding to California with a three-cafe development agreement signed by Neetu and Sanjeev Bali. This multi-unit deal introduces one of the newest breakfast places in Sacramento, with target locations planned for Sacramento, Roseville, and Rocklin. The Balis bring 25 years of restaurant franchisee experience and nearly three decades of work within the Denny's system to our growing family.
Trading 24-Hour Operations for a Single Shift
After decades of managing complex 24-hour restaurant operations, our new franchise owners are shifting their focus. Our operating model runs on a single shift strictly from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. This streamlined schedule provides an appealing alternative for experienced operators evaluating different breakfast restaurants in Sacramento. You can read more about Keke's opening news to see how this approach supports daily operations across our cafes.
A Commitment to Freshness and Team Retention
The Balis boast a history of high employee retention, with some team members remaining on their staff for 25 years. Prior to finalizing their expansion plans, they visited our existing locations in Florida to observe the daily kitchen operations. They saw firsthand that every dish is made to order with fresh ingredients, real butter, and hand-cracked eggs.
This new development agreement highlights a strong operational foundation as we continue our national growth. Keep an eye on these upcoming Sacramento locations (Get opening updates) as development progresses across California.
